Plant Managers et each of the Textile Fibers plants and their comments solicited. Replies have been received from all but one location. Their consents, if significant, will be forwarded to you. The Textile Fibers plants are in general agreement with the proposed revisions for 1963 on Asbestos, Benzene, and Heptane where these materials are used. A separate study is being made of the adverse effects of Asbestos dust. Separate instructions will be issued to the plants when this study is completed. None of the plants had comments concerning the "Additions under Consideration". Several of the locations use hexafluoroisopropanol and are interested in a TLV to guide them in their use of this material. None of than, however, have pertinent data to substantia*e or refute recommendations published by Haskell in their lab reports Nos. 2-6? and 60-66. One of our plants (Camden) is interested in TLV's for 2-methyl-5-vinyl pyridine and tris (2,3-dibromopropyl) phosphate. Any assistance that you can give us on these materials would be appreciated.
