Tyler SUBJECT: Central Safety and Health Council Minutes The Central Safety and Health Council (CSHC) met on March 19, 1993. Walter Tyler, leader of the Policies and Procedures Team, submitted five procedures for council review and comment. The five procedures included: 1. Hot Work Permit 2. Confine Space Entry 3. Safe Work Permit 4. Excavation Permit 5. Process Hazards Review. The status of the lockout/tagout procedure was reviewed. This procedure is in the final stage of review and comment and should be issued in April. The Safety Training Specialist will be conducting the training. Hal Burgess updated the CSHC on Incident Command Implementation, see attached schedule. Owners of each ICS section were also submitted and approved. The Emergency Response Business will be working with these owners to complete implementation. A discussion on the need for sideshields was discussed. The Safety and Health Department will review sideshield application and report back to CSHC with a recommendation. Jim Mahoney recommended that Breaker Shift Foremen be included in the Annual Fire Brigade training at Texas A&M. The CSHC approved the recommendation. Control Room pressurization maintenance was discussed. The CSHC determined that repairs to the Control Room pressurization system be handled on a priority work schedule. The Process Department will develop guidelines on turning in work orders involving control room pressurization.
