The study concluded that annual suspended solids loadings fmin stormwater are 10 times higher than solids loadings from municipal wastewater treatment plants providing secondary treatment. Also, chemical oxygen demand (COD) loadings from stormwater were comparable to loadings from municipal wastewater treatment plants.
