Purchasing has contacted all of our asbestos suppliers and it appears that we will have no trouble getting all grades of asbestos in plastic bags. As soon as the holding device for the disposal bag is available we will set up a procedure for disposal of the asbestos bags by the mixer operators. 2. A new type of dump bucket is being tried in the disc brake briquetting operation. 3. A trip has been planned to visit the Johns-Manville asbestos mill to see what they have done to control asbestos dust. Among other things, an "automatic" bag opener and disposal unit will be observed. pSF/wef cc: R. Blair , W. Brown/ c . Menz K. Nasholds T. Rasmussen J. Riopelle A. St. John D. Stone G.
