This stimmer the two Dr. Hunters are coming back from London for a few months and will probably study the mechanism by which the thyroid gland stimulates calcium excretion, so we continue as we have in the last three years, by spending part of the time in the laboratory upon subjects which you and your associates are interested in. The $10,000 which you gave us three years ago are now reduced to approximately $2,000 and I v/onder whether you would not care to duplicate your gift so we can continue to work on allied subjects as the problems arise. I would greatly appreciate it if arrangements similar to the ones we made before, namely, that a sum of money, such as you gave us before, could be put^if our disposal for the further study of inorganic salt metabuHSsm.
