Dear Sir: Referring to your letter of February 9th advising of the receipt of a copy of letter addressed to me under date February 2nd, i958, by our Birmingham office regarding the claim of one Warrior, Alabama. i The local doctors attending Mr. have expressed the opinion that the latter's condition is due to lead poisoning, and accordingly the claim is now in the hands of an attorney who is demanding $15,000 in settlement. It is apparent that we are going to be faced with a law-suit and we naturally want to prepare for the worst. It has been suggested that possibly you or one of your associates might arrange to go to our District Office at Birmingham at your convenience sometime in the hear future with a view of making a thorough examination of Mr. Florence.
