The March 24 memo from Pruitt to EPA officials says his chief of staff, Ryan Jackson, will chair the task force, which is meant to recommend rules "that can be repealed, replaced or modified to make them less burdensome." Also on the task force are Jackson's deputy, Byron Brown, and Brittany Bolen, the 17cv1906 Sierra Club v. EPA - 6/22 Production ED 001523 00005010-00001 deputy associate administrator for policy. All three are former aides to Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.). EPA's various offices, including those overseeing air, water and chemical safety, have until May 15 to identify specific rules for the task force to consider for repeal or change. The memo directs each office to hold a public meeting on the topic "so that we can listen and learn directly from those impacted by our regulations." Pruitt's memo also identifies Samantha Dravis, his associate administrator for policy, as the "regulatory reform officer" the agency is required to designate per Trump's order. Dravis came from the Republican Attorneys General Association.
