Raumpartner Nedical Department State Office Oldg Columbus 15 Chio Centlemen This claim has been referred to the Division of Safety and Hygiene for the purrose of securing dust counts It so states in this claim that this claimant worked on construction jobs as an insulator and no dust count can be made because all jobs that he worked on h^/ve been completed We can therefore only estimate what exposure this wan would have to insulating material Materials similar to the type that this man worked with have been found to be mace of practically all sestos fiters and it is quite possible that this claimant may quired to saw various lengths of this or some other tyce of cutting machine to sbestos dust He mentions in his have on some occasions be rematerial either with 3 han saw and would therefore be exposed claimant that he worked with a product which was made of glass and which was very dusty and harzful All of the insulating material of this tyre contains rockwool which is a Flass fiber and does not contain writer's belie that this claimant free silica was exposed nor ashestos It is the to asbestos dust during his course of employment but that the concentrations would be impossible to ascertain at the present time If the Medical Jenartment deems it necessary e will obtain some of this material and take a dust count while it is being sawed I oelieve one can safely estimate that the concentration of dust which would be generated at this type of oneration would be within a range of from 5 to N.
