Comparison of data from various experiments of Professor Maltoni, including the latest interim results (BT9, BT15) showed that a quantitativeevaluation for rats could not be drawn at the moment. The Committee therefore decided to ask the sponsors of Professor Maltoni's work to provide an interpretation by experts of the results published in order to clarify the differences which appeared between the first and these most recent experiments. This interpretation will be passed to everyone as soon as possible. In the meantime, no new fact has come forward to influence the Committee that there is any reason to change its view concerning the human, situation.
