EXHAUST FANS IN REACTOR BUILDINGS
date February-13,Vl$74
copy to S. Cupach -R. Carte f B.-Wanker R. Chartier
By reducing the speed on the fans, the conservation of heat would be minimal . and the chance of vinyl chloride buildup could be hazardous. I personally do not think that this is the safe way to go.

Regarding Elmer's comments above, I have discussed the matter with Maintenance, i.e..Nissim and Wanker. They feel it could be done but savings would be small. I feeL that in light of the new VCM
findings, it would not be wise to consider any questionable modifications in this area at this time.
