Today's Date: 5/3/2017 Meeting Date: May 15-19, or May 25-June 2, 2017 Meeting Time: At the convenience of Administrator Pruitt Requested Location (if offsite, please list address, parking instructions, etc.): Office of the Administrator Requestor: Chris Wood, President and CEO of Trout Unlimited Purpose of the Meeting: To discuss ways that TU can maintain and strengthen our long term partnership with EPA. TU has enjoyed a long and positive partnership with EPA on a number of habitat improving programs over many Administrations, and we would like to keep it going with the new Administration and Administrator Pruitt. Background on the Meeting: We see strong opportunities to work together with EPA, such as on abandoned mine clean up, Good Samaritan policy, Chesapeake Bay clean up, and non-point pollution more broadly. We have our differences, such as with water of the U.S. policy of the current Administration. We seek to establish a good working relationship with Administrator Pruitt and his staff. Role of the Administrator: We seek a positive engagement with the Administrator to establish a working relationship with him and his senior staff.
