CCt Dr. J.M. Campbell. RBS/bVMH/'JP C.J. Healey, Esq., Hedgehogs, St. Vincent Lane, Addlngten, West Mailing, Kent. 2nd March, 1961. Dear. Mr. Healey. Your letter of 24th February has been passed tome for attention and Z regret that as Z have been away from the offloe there has been delay in making reply. Z am surprised to hear that you have experienced pain in the forefinger of your hand following oontaot with liquid A roclor. we have no history of suoh an effeot in our works and laboratories, where oontaot with the liquid la relatively frequent, and in any ease, you washed your hands thoroughly after the oontaot had taken place so that the Aroolor was only in oontaot for a relatively short time. As you say that (a) the pain is espeolally under the nail, (b) you washed off pretty thoroughly, Z an inclined to suggest that you used a nail brush and that one or more bristles caused minor injury behind the nail. This would take several days to dear up,, and Z expect all la well by now. Zf not, occasional washing of ths finger with an antlepptlo solution, e.g. Dettol should be effective. Cb your further query ocnoemlng closurea for bottles containing Aroolor we would reoomend the use of Polythene stoppers. Please let me know how the finger is getting on. Yours sincerely. P.T.M.
