NATURE OF DISCUSSION AND GENERAL REMARKS
The ScGregcr , Texas Plant of the subject coapany was reisspected is the interest of accident pgereatioa os Thursday, April 6, 1950, in coapany with Hr. J. 3. Crawford, Plant Uanagsr. Only one reccaaendation is being cade regarding cechaeical hazards as a result of this inspection, howwrer, the dust hazard is still serious although an exhaust 87sten is in operation. Our reeojjoaendation regarding this situation is for the use of personal equip* sent until a satisfactory dust collecting systea is installed.
Only one accident has been reported fros this Plant since the date of our Za3t report and this was of a ainor nature, requiring nedical First Aid only.

1. Mfff. Department: Two large motors, driving equipment on raw end, should have guards over V-Belt drives although these motors are atop equipment and only subject to accidental contact by employees making adjustments,'etc.-
2. Generail. It is suggested that wearing of respirators by all employees in dusty areas
should either be mandatory or encouraged until satisfactory dust removal equipment is available and limit of exposure is known.
