Robinson, M.D BR Plant Breathing Air System Address Date January 22, 1975 It might be of value to point out once again, as in my letter to you of January 6, 1975, that the industrial hygiene report on B. R. plant breathing air (since issued per H, M. Taylor on January 16, 1975) does not represent a comprehensive, definitive evaluation of this system. The evaluation was intended, and carried out, as a range finding study. This is the pattern and level of coverage that is planned for the Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Survey of the B.R. plant (of which the study of breathing air is a part). The findings reported in this study do indicate that problems re quiring corrective actions probably do exist. It seems likely that a more thorough evaluation of the breathing air system might be in order if actions involving any very considerable expenditure of effort or money would appear to be necessary to satisfactorily correct the problems. This additional evaluation might be carried by group other than (but hopefully with some guidance from) Industrial Hygiene. If at all possible, the continuing progress of the Comprehensive Survey should not be stopped for the purpose of achieving final definition and resolution of problems that the Survey might point out.
