Link Stark Hills Hogansville s I have noted Hr. Watkins* letter of November 22 on the subject of maintenance of Asbeston dust control equipment and I am very much concerned about vhat he reports. K y concern is further increased when I recall that on Hr Sullivan's and my recent visit we tried to discuss the system you used for maintenance of this equipment and the persons responsible for this Job. It was with some difficulty and after some telephoning that ycu were able to determine whose responsibility it is and the specified procedure. This, in spite of the fact that this question has been discussed many times and many suggestions have been given your organization from this office as to how it might be set up. Also; this condition exists in spite of the fact that about a year ago the only answer to the Asbeston dust problem your organization had was 'to go out of business'. It seems to me you should come up with a written procedure and written assignment of responsibilities so that whenever dust control equipment is not operating we would at least know whose job it is to have had it in operation.
