Reidel Review of project progress: 1) Aluminum Storage Tanks Tanks have been requisitioned. Purchase order was issued on 10-12-67. 2) Survey Map a) Location of items covered in the last meeting have been completed. b) We submitted an alternate roadway and biphenyl storage tank layout to the plant (Lou Sprandel's group) for consideration. Plant has now approved (10-17-67) this layout. 3) Plant Review Items a) Completion date for roadway is not known at this time. For our purposes, assume roadway will not be completed during the life of this proj ect. b) Plant has made preliminary analysis of sewer in the track area. A new manhole is being installed west of the area. For our purposes, assume no sewer work will be completed during the life of this project. 4) Model a) Tank farm preliminary should be completed as soon as possible showing locations of valves. We need this for plant review - Trigg, Clayton, Reidel. Ol2`7`>3 TOWOLDMONOQ45166 4) Model (cont'd.) -2 b) We should start the preliminary model of the new production facilities - Reidel, Fontaine. ' c) Stairway to storage tanks should tie into exist ing platform at control room - Reidel, Fontaine. 5) Piping a) The plant is installing a new 6" chlorine line into the 246 area. We should lay this line out on our preliminary model to see if we can fore stall a shutdown next summer - Trigg. b) Nozzle locations in existing tanks have been located in the field. 6) Schedules The schedule was again reviewed, but no changes were made. 7) Paint System . Check is being made with plant to see if galvanized steel is acceptable - Yates (H. Ray). 8) Process Design Process design is running behind the published schedule.
