.Dear Sirs
We acknowledge receipt of your letter of October 13th with regard to one of your employees becoming .ill with alleged lead poisoning. As you are aware, the distribution of Ethyl Gasoline has been in effect for the last five years in increas ing quantities throughout the country. i?e have .never had a substantiated case of lead poisoning presented to us from contact with Ethyl Gasoline la the history of our company, le therefore do not think there is any doubt but that your employee's illness is the result of some other cause than his handling of JSthyl Gasoline.
:However, we are referring tbs' matter to our Medical Department at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio and requesting our Medical Director, Dr. R. A* Kehoa to have one of his medical staff arrange to sake an examination of this assn and assist him all possible in effecting a cure.
Very truly yours,
G*C
