EPA has now submitted a proposed review of the Clean Power Plan, after reviewing it pursuant to the Executive Order. Once the interagency review is complete, EPA will issue the proposal for public review and comment. As the Administrator has said, any additional steps on CPP beyond this proposal are yet to be determined. When should we expect some news on that front? 2. My understanding is that to replace the CPP, another resolution to replace it must be drafted. Is that correct, and, if so, can you give me any insight into how that will differ from the current plan? Can you say who is working on that replacement, if one indeed is being worked on currently? 3. Part of my article is going to be about how news outlets need to do a better job describing to readers/viewers the potential impacts of repealing/replacing the CPP. What can your office do, specifically, to help journalists convey oftencomplicated scientific concepts and the results of scientific policy to voters? (i.e. maybe in the short term, a few coal mining jobs are saved, or if more of the CPP is kept intact, maybe more solar jobs are added - something tangible that average citizens can easily grasp onto.)
