Lewis Dear Sirs: For your information one of our Sales Engineers, at our Boston Agency reports the following situation which may he of in^ terest to you. It appears to have been brought about through contact with ethylized gasoline. "On or about March, 1937, I noticed a slight skin irritation at knuckles and joints of fingers on both hands. Thinking them to be chapped, I applied camphor ice night and morning and this condition apparently cleared up. A short time later the skin on both hands broke out in a rash that would become dry and scaly, followed by little water blisters causing irritation. A druggist suggested my using Zemo which I applied after which the skin would dry up and break out again. While on vacation in New Jersey, August 23rd, my hand became so irritated that an infection set in for which I was under doctor's care both in New Jersey and in Boston later after my vacation was over. Travelers Insurance Co. Clinic sent me to Dr. Dolling a skin specialist, who wants to make comparative tests on m y arm with various grades of gasoline,.
