D., who was Corporate Medical Director at the time. My notes of my conversation with Dr. Zavon indicate that Dr. Princi was Medical Director in 1961-3, succeeding Karl Kitzmiller, 1958-1961, who succeeded Dr. Kehoe, 19241958. Dr. Zavon indicated that Dr. Princi was Assistant Medical Director, beginning in 1957, before he became Medical Director in 1961. Dr. Zavon indicated that Dr. Princi was internationally known in the study of pulmonary disease, had participated in the Saranac Lake Institute conferences and worked with George Wright Dr. Zavon indicated that Princi was also "associated with the South Carolina people who suggested that asbestos and lung cancer were related." Perhaps you know who Dr. Zavon means, but my notes don't indicate who "the South Carolina people" were. It may be a point to follow-up with Dr. Zavon` Dr. Zavon mentioned a Doug CdopeifTast known address in Sacramento, CA (916) 481-0977, who was an industrial hygienist I shall try to see if he is still alive. Mentioned in some of Princi's correspondence was Harry L Wheeler, who was with Kettering, but appears to have done industrial hygiene work, pJimarily in lead, for Ethyl in the 50's and ^ S* J) Evelyn Widner was at Kettering as Librarian.
