I am very glad to know that your work gives promise of going along smoothly. The matter of the extensive alcohol Ingestion of workers In southern France Is one which seems difficult of solution, and I have nothing to propose that will be of any assistance to you. You will apparently have to do the best you can under somewhat adverse conditions. I am sending to you under separate cover a series of articles which have been published from this laboratory on the subject of lead, and on the problem of gasoline containing tetraethyl lead. I understand that you have the reports which we have issued from time to time so that I believe yoxi are now in possession of practically all that we have said on the subject, with the single exception of an article which I wrote some years ago on tetraethyl lead poisoning which was published In the Journal of the American Medical Association - Volume 85 - Page 108 (1925). My supply of reprints of this article Is exhausted. We have other clinical data on tetraethyl lead poisoning which has not been published bub which I hope to get Into print some time in the near future. The article on "The Behavior of Lead in the Animal Organism II Tetraethyl Lead", and the series of articles "On the Normal Absorption and Excretion of Lead" are among the last of my copies* Therefore, If you already have copies of bhfese articles, I would greatly appreciate your returning these to me. If you do not have them, however, keep them for your own file.
