Fetzcr November 10, 1978 - Summary of Analytical Results Obtained During Plant Turnaround - July 197^ In reviewing the analytical data from the previous turnaround, it was found that the July 1977 turnaround data was never formalized in a report. The attached data summarizes the testing conducted during the turnaround. Personnel dosimeter data is shown in section A from the initial shutdown phase until all temporary employees scheduled for monitoring were tested. Seven employees .exceeded the one ppm limit and are listed in table I. This data and the location of the exposure are found at the end of Section A. Fixed point monitoring data are shown in Section B. This data showed high vinyl chloride on July 16 and other days while loading may have taken place. The data in Section C represents that data obtained during vessel purge and clearing operations. This data reflects the vinyl chloride, ethyl chloride and/or EDC content of these' grab samples. Also, included in this section are the results of the column wash and/or dump samples. The data .in Section D summarizes the testings completed around the secondary system during the turnaround. The information was logged on sheets titled Column Wash Samples, in reality it pertains to the samples leaving the operating sites (plant effluent) and samples around the secondary treatment system. Should time become available, a separate condensed summary of this analytical data will be issued. This report then compiles the analytical information gathered during the July 1977 turnaround.
