Tamara, I hope all is well with you and your current endeavors.
I know before Scott's world changed, he or his staff were trying to get with me to discuss his future. Obviously, I would be a big supporter of Scott's in any pursuit, just as I have been from the early days. We never connected mostly due to me being unavailable at the right times. Of course, shortly thereafter he deservedly was nominated to his current, prestigious position at the federal level. I'm so happy for and proud of him! I'd love the opportunity to say hello to Scott at the right time. I am in D.C. a couple of times a year for my work at MidFirst Bank, so perhaps I will get the opportunity to briefly check in with him at some point.

Tosetti, who is Los Angeles based and works for the law firm Latham and Watkins. Paul reached out to us as a London-based client of his was hoping to get Scott to address their organization, perhaps in the House of Lords, later this year. Paul forwarded us a letter (attached to this email - note the confidential treatment requested below) that the organization addressed to Scott extending him this invitation. I do not know the organization and have no idea if Scott would have any interest in accepting the invitation to speak, but I agreed to attempt to ensure Scott at least received and considered the invitation given Paul's relationship with Jeff.
Paul included this excerpt from a prior email: "It's not a lobbying exercise - a Londonbased non-profit for which I do some work is hoping to get him to address their annual gathering (in the House of Lords, I believe). And while there's nothing of great sensitivity in the letter, the GWPF people would appreciate if it were kept in confidence. If Scott declines the invitation, and/or doesn't wish to receive any input regarding it except through official channels, that's of course 100% OK." In addition, I included below excerpts from Paul's most recent email I received and to which he provided the attached invitation letter.
Could you be so kind as to assist me in ensuring Scott receives the invitation and has an appropriate opportunity to consider it? That's my mission, regardless of whether Scott accepts the invitation or not. Please note that Paul has requested that the invitation be letter be kept in confidence.
Also, I know you've recently reached out to me to introduce me and others at MidFirst to MattPinnell. We should work on a date and time to make a meet and greet with Matt happen.

While I know that the global warming/climate change debate can be deeply contentious, I have found the GWPF folks, though fairly described as skeptics, to be civil and reasonable in their work.

This is the most important event of our year. Past lecturers have included Vaclav Klaus, the former President of the Czech Republic, John Howard, the former Prime Minister of Australia, and Owen Paterson MR, former UK Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, at! of whose lectures attracted excellent media attention.
Last January we hosted Myron Ebeil, former head of President Trump's EPA transition team, who spoke very highly of you.
The subject matter would be up to you - preferably, of course, your thoughts on US climate and energy policy. The lecture would be subsequently published in printed form, as well as appearing on our website. It would be held at a high quality address in Central London on a date to suit you; but it is usually in October or November, which would be ideal from our point of view. The lecture would be followed by a private dinner in your honour for some thirty to forty guests.
