We appreciate all your help accommodating a large group. As you can tell, they're big fans of the Secretary! I'm adding in Lauren, Sen. Young's LD, to this email. We wanted to follow up on the discussion at the end of the meeting yesterday regarding a visit by Sec. Duffy to the future bridge site, potentially as early as next week when he may be around the area. Is that something that would work in the Secretary's calendar? We're happy to help coordinate logistics and get rolling on the planning, if so. Also, would it be possible to connect us with Jay Payne, Chief Counsel at FHWA, who mentioned reviewing the prior applications and making recommendations on how to strengthen their application for the upcoming cycle?
