Mr. Rohrman and I feel the Company's interests would best be served if all Company products containing asbestos had an appropriate warning label. You and Mr. Howard advised that no manufacturers of Joint treatment are labelling their products. It would have a damaging effect on sales if we alone used a warning label. Ve would be willing to use such a label if the rest of the industry did. As agreed, Mr. Rohrman and I discussed with Mr. Thad Snell the feasibility of seeking the assistance of the Gypsum Association in resolving this problem. Mr. Snell sees nothing wrong in an appropriate committee of the Gypsum Association scheduling this problem for discussion and inviting Joint treatment compound manufacturers to participate in this discussion.
