Sneed May 27, 1992 VIS1A DOSIMETRY RESULTS FROM SAMPLE LINE PRODUCTION Attached are the results of the dosimetry measurements taken during the recent Plenex preblending on the dryblend sample line. The results were very favorable, with lead exposure concentrations for the two Operators involved, well below the exposure limits. Sixteen batches were blended during the period, with each containing approximately 10 pounds of lead stabilizer. The lead was weighed into PVC bags and sealed. The sealed bags were dropped directly into the Welex mixer when blending to minimize exposure. Therefore, it appears that when handled properly, lead usage on the sample line is acceptable. Rory H.
