My vacation has been delayed somewhat by various professional responsibilities, but is now arranged definitely, and I dare not postpone it further or allow it to be interrupted. (The past six months have been fairly hectic, and I am in need of a break.) This means that I shall be out of circulation after the 10th of August until just after Labor Bay. I am also scheduled to attend one of the Gordon Conferences during the first week of August, so that I shall not be able to visit you ' until early in September. Since your problem involves both mercury and lead, I think I should attend to it myself, and therefore unless your situation is urgent, I suggest that we wait until September.
