At abeut 11 a.m. yesterday, Eddie Joseph Fairchild, 43, of St. Gabriel, a contractor employee, was fatally injured in an accident on the refinery grounds. Fairchild was an employee of Hullingherst Industries, Inc., of Baton Rouge. He was an insulator assigned te insulate a newly installed pipe. He was taken to Baton Rouge General Hospital, where he died, apparently as a result of electrocution, the cause and circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
