Dear Dr. Kehoe,
I enclose a copy of an article by Miss Cremer of the Medical Research Council relating to the toxicity of Tetramethyl Lead which appeared in the British Journal of Industrial Medicine. This work was undertaken and completed during the course of last year.
I wonder whether you might have any further information which you could pass on to me on the work that you have been doing at the Kettering on the toxic and physiological aspects of Tetramethyl lead. I do not know whether the progress of your work at the Kettering is sufficiently advanced at this stage for you to consider its wider publication; I am thinking in particular of the Health Authorities in Europe whom we visited during the course of the summer of last year, and whom we supplied with the information on the toxic aspects of Tetramethyl Lead that was available at that time, but also intimated to them that as and when more information became available, they would be kept informed.
With kindest regards,
Yours sincerely,
Dr.R.A.Kehoe, The Kettering Laboratory, University of Cincinnati, Eden Avenue, Cincinnati, 19, Ohio,U.S.A.
