Subject: Confirmed Governors | Re: Invitation Letter from Governor Hutchinson, Arkansas
17.06.12 The Honorable Scott Pruitt, Administrator,EPA (57th Annual SSEB Meeting Keynote Address
Invitation).pdf
Dear Ms. Hupp,
I am writing to follow up on the message below regarding an invitation from Governor Hutchinson of Arkansas to Administrator Pruitt requesting his participation in the Southern States Energy Board's Annual Meeting. The invitation letter is attached. As an update on other participants, we have confirmed Governors Hutchinson, Bevin (KY), Bryant (MS), and McMaster (SC), all of whom will participate in a gubernatorial panel preceding the placeholder time slot we are holding for the Administrator. He will be in good company with several folks from the State of Oklahoma as well, as State Representative Weldon Watson serves on the Board's Executive Committee and Mike Smith with the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission based out of Oklahoma City will be present. Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouilette also is confirmed as a speaker and several executives from utilities across the Southeast. There are opportunities to meet privately with these members if the Administrator is interested. I am happy to coordinate.
We are working hard with Governor Hutchinson's staff to confirm the agenda so it can be released to the public, so any guidance you can give me on the likelihood of the Administrator's participation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much, Kimberly

Dear Ms. Hupp,
On behalf of Governor Asa Hutchinson, Governor of Arkansas and Chairman of the Southern States Energy Board, I am forwarding a letter the Governor sent to Administrator Pruitt inviting him to provide a keynote address during the Board's 57th Annual Meeting. The original letter was sent directly from the Governor's office last week. The event will be held at the Francis Marion hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, on September 24-26, 2017. Governor Hutchinson is requesting that Administrator Pruitt provide a keynote address on Monday morning, September 25, immediately following a gubernatorial panel focused on their perspectives on energy policy, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. Currently, this panel includes Governor Hutchinson and Governor Phil Bryant of Mississippi. Other southern governors are tentatively confirmed and will be announced soon. If the Administrator is unavailable on Monday morning, I am happy to work with you to accommodate his schedule.
Please contact me if you have any questions or if additional information is required to process Governor Hutchinson's request. Thank you for your consideration.
Kind regards, Kimberly

Ma'am. Good afternoon. Just checking to see if you have determined if Mr Pruitt's schedule would allow him to speak on 13 July in OKC. If this is not possible, just let me know by Fri afternoon. Time is running short to lock in a speaker. Thanks
