These are Experimental 13546 calling for non-asbestos non-metallic lining 3027-32 for rear disc brake work on the Cadillac 'E' car. This brake, at present, utilizes Delco-Moraine 5470 asbestos based material which they are trying to get rid of. Also entered was Experimental 13547 which called for high friction resin bonded metallic disc brake material 989-39 for front disc brake work on their 'J' car. At present, the Delco-Moraine 8035 lining is used on this vehicle with two major complaints being generated, number one being noise and number two, lining dust. Bendix 7161 is being evaluated for dust at the moment, although it has low friction and they do not believe it will meet the FMVSS 105 requirements. These will be shipped to Delco-Moraine to the attention of Ron Ellis fand then shipped to the Cadillac Division for evaluation. L.
