Mr. Bob Burnett Executive Director The Vinyl Institute 155 Route 46 West Interchange Plaza II Wayne NJ 07470
Dear Bob;
FAX 201 890-7029
I need to inform you that I am retiring from Georgia Gulf Corporation effective imtnediatoly and as a result must resign from my rolo as Chairman of the Vinyl Institute.
It would be Georgia Gulfs intention to actively continue its participation as a member of the Vinyl Institute and will nominate a person to represent its interests in the near future.
I am sure this comes somewhat as a surprise, particularly with regard to timing, but it is a decision that has received a great deal of thought. It will provide me the opportunity to pursue some of the personal and business interests 1 have had to keep on the sidelines.
The Vinyl Institute has played a critical and strong role for the industry and l am confident that the leadership in place will carry on ably in my absence. I will tell you that I have truly enjoyed my past participation with this group of professionals and look forward to its continuing accomplishments in the future.
Sincerely,
