This was fortunate, since he pointed out to me that ay concern about the discrepancies between the various sets of results on the samples which you furnished for cross analysis was somewhat excessive. I had not taken into account the size of the samples actually employed for the analyses, and the amounts of lead found and then multiplied to bring them up to the level of a kilogram. I still think that there is greater variation than should occur but X realize that it is not nearly so great as X had assumed. Zn any case, Cholak will repeat the analysis of the samples of food products, by taking a larger sample (when available). When the results are available, he will report them to you,and make such recommendation as may seem to be Justified. As it happens, Lucile and 1 are going to San Francisco on December 12.
