Gentlemen:
Attached is a revised quotation covering John Crane molded packing sets.
Per your request, we renegotiated with Crane and they have agreed to honor the attached prices and minimum quantities if an order covering this entire lot of packings is placed with Crane for one complete shipment to one destination. Consequently, this rjevision represents a decrease of 43 sets of packings required to meet minimums and a considerable cost savings to Sun of over $1,100 on a job lot order placed for one lot shipment into Sun Petroleum warehouse stock.
Delivery remains at 8 to 10 weeks, f.o.b. Morton Grove, Illinois. Our terms are Net 30 days.
These prices are subject to any and all manufacturer's escalation that might occur prior to shipment.

This quotation confirms our conversations of October 6, 1980, and we are pleased to quote your packing requirements as follows:
Prices per set are shown on the attached list of packings, which we based on the results of the Crane packing survey taken by our salesman Bob Brown. The figures shown in the last column of our attachment represent the minimum number of sets we can order. ' John Crane Company has quoted us an 8 to 10 week delivery on these packings, and this long delivery will have to be considered when establishing reorder points.
We propose to bring into Triplex stock each item on the attached list, to be released by Sun as required. Our initial stock level will be the minimum quantities required by Crane.
Reorder points of all items will be by change order from Sun this is to say when an item is depleted from our inventory, a change order authorizing reorder will be required. Sun will be advised in sufficient time of the need for a change order and item or items to be covered.
This blanket contract for Crane packings may be cancelled by either Triplex or Sun Petroleum upon 30 days written notice, with the understanding that all of these packing sets stocked at Triplex will be purchased by Sun within 60 days following cancellation.
