Jaiil, who worked as a congressional liaison on Trump's campaign, helped start a short-lived firm called Aselus Strategies shortly after Trump's inauguration before going on to start Alpha Strategies. He signed the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo as a client last year on a contract worth $45,000 a month. -- Jaiil will lobby on behalf of EB-5 regional centers and investors as lawmakers consider reforming the program. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) called the program rife with "cases of fraud, corruption and threats to national security" on Tuesday during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Jaiil has also signed the Mega Company as a client, although he will be consulting for the company rather than lobbying.
