Soott, direotor of White Lead and Oxide Sales for the Paoifio Coast Branch since 1950, retired from aotive duty September 1. Hr. Soott oame to the Company in 1914, his first appointment being that of secretary of the Rational Lead Co. of California. He was later made assistant manager and after the merger with the Bass-Hueter Paint Co., in 1930, he was appointed to the position he held at the time of his retirement. Mr. Orr's first position with Rational Lead Co, was as offioe boy in the Ban Pranolsoo offioe, in 1916.
