ANNUAL LEAVE. Ve have recently considered the conditions under which leave Is granted to Staff Officers at Wlttenoom, and It has now been decided that all C.S.R. Staff Officers and those on the C.S.R* Monthly Salary List will now be granted annual leave at the rate of four weeks per annual, instead of three as at present. This concession will commence with officers who depart from Wlttenoom on leave on or after 1st July, 1952.
The conditions under which leave will be taken are as followss-
(i) Officers engaged Initially for service with A.B.A. Ltd. where Perth Is their city of engagement: leave will be granted annually with free air travel for themselves, their wives and children under 18 years of age to Perth. Travelling time by air will be excluded, so that an officer will be able to spend four weeks clear in Perth.
(11) C.gJt, Officers transferred to Wlttenoom from other
activities of the Company in the Eastern States:
annually to Perth If desired under the above conditions,
bat an officer may be permitted to accumulate his leave
for two years and then be granted a free rail and
sleeper passage from Perth to the capital city of his
place of engagement* Travelling time will be excluded,
so that he shall have eight weeks actual leave In the

(iii)
Whether or no an officer elects to take leave annually, a free air passage to Perth and return will be allowed once each year for his wife and children under 18
years of age.
It should be noted that where the Government provides a free passage for children attending school
in Perth once annually * this will not debar them from being given also the passage granted by the Company.
