R. Grace fc Co. M0N0K0TE formulations produced prior to July 1973 did contain commercial asbestos, as did all eommerclally-available acoustical and fireproofing products. For your information, the MONOKOTZ contained approximately 10-12Z asbestos. In considering a course of action with regard to older asbestos-con taining materials, consideration should be given to the age, physical condition and accessibility of the material. Enclosed is information relative to either sealing the surface of asbestos materials or safety precautions to be used in removal. We trust that the enclosed informa tion will be useful.
