SUBJECT Clearance Samples for Asbestos Removal If valid documentation of proper clean-up after indoor asbestos removal operations is desired, clearance samples should be collected both before and after all operations. Post removal results should be 0.01 f/cc or the level of pre-removal sampling, whichever is higher (by phase contrast microscopy). If sample levels are above the higher value, then cleaning should be conducted again with additional post clean-up samples for rvaluation. These samples should be collected with a high flow pump running at 2 LPM for a 24 hour period. This will require plugging the pump into the charger and the charger into an appropriate outlet.
