C. L. Bradford - 0. 0. January 19/ 1972 INCINERATION POLICY T. L. Oossage H. S. Bergen - B2&L J. H. Davidson R E. Hatton K. T. Johnson 0. F, Fague - 1320 In dlsouaslon with Kora Johnson and George Fague, wo arrived at an Incineration policy which we think should be applicable at all General Motors locations plus other euatoners. Ve will charge all users our cost of per pound FOB the Kruoarlch Plant for any fluid which they want incinerated. They will pay us at the tine of incineration. Ve will then credit then at the rate of 3i a pound for all new straight phosphate esters which they buy at list price until the amount of the credit equals the total anount of annoy they paid for incineration. Where they purchase oU/phosphate eater blends we will credit then with 2# a pound to account for the difference In gross profit dollars between our two series of fluids. Though this policy gives us an effective price reduction of about 30l per gallon for those euatoners who buy new phosphate eaters from us and have fluid to incinerate, wo are still perhaps 20-a gallon higher than our competitors if the 13.00 per gallon conpetltlve prices we have heard about are true. One way to reduce this difference entirely would be to raise our price for incineration to those current Pydraul accounts who either choose not to buy our new fluids or tto force us to bid for the business. Note that we will not credit a eustoner for the incinera tion fee unless we get list prlco for the fluids. If we are forced to bid conpetltlvely, then the sale of new fluids and the price of incineration would be two separate items. /pop C. L. Bradford TNGS 010577 WATER PCB-SD0000044319
