Hello Aurelia and Connie! It was very nice seeing both of you last evening at the reception. I am sending the email so the two of you can be sure to connect. I could see there are many common interests for you to discuss! So I do hope you can get together. Take care. Nick

Yes, thank you so much, Nick! You are a great connector.
Aurelia, great to meet you. I am excited about getting to work together. I am anxious to have you come up (if you can) to our Berkeley Institute in Iowa. Berkeley is our science and development arm for our R&D. I know you are swamped so we will work to find time. Plus, I am seeing Greg, probably next week, to chat about an excise tax CEO table roundtable. Since any and all things product related to tackle and rods plays into this excise tax, your impact complements nicely into the world of all things water/fish.
We can't sell product without fish and water and states can't do much needed work without our excise tax. I believe this relationship is the oldest public-to- private partnership that is successful that no one understands or knows much about!
I will keep you updated on all. meetings. Looking forward to next steps.
Best, CSP

Dear Scott,
We hope this finds you doing well. Dan, cc'ed here, is Syngenta's lead stewardship expert in North Carolina, who you may remember meeting last year. Also cc'ed is Gerald "Stinger" Guala, Ph.D., Branch Chief at USGS. He directs Biodiversity Information Serving Our Nation (BISON) and the Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS). It would be great for all of us to get together to talk species the next time Dan is in town. We can try for lunch, coffee or whatever works well for you. If this is OK, we will send you some dates that may work for Dan. Thank you very much, and take care everyone.
Kind regards, Laura
