May 16, 1996 MEMORANDUM OF SERVICES Our services to the Chemstar Vinyl Chloride Panel in March and April 1996 included the following. We spoke with Has Shah and revised draft comments on the ATSDR Medical Management Guidelines for vinyl chloride. After speaking further with Has Shah, we provided final comments for submission to ATSDR. On March 21, we met with Has Shah to go over additional changes to the draft Memorandum of Understanding with ATSDR concerning vinyl chloride testing and to prepare the study plan to be submitted with the draft MOU. We provided final versions of these documents, along with a letter to ATSDR, to Has Shah. We reviewed a notice published by ATSDR concerning the status of its voluntary research efforts and circulated it with a brief memorandum. We reviewed an EPA notice indicating that the IRIS summary for vinyl chloride would be updated and soliciting relevant scientific information. We provided this notice to Has Shah with a short cover letter. We reviewed the letter from ATSDR concerning suggested changes to the draft MOU, and spoke to Bill Cibulas about our unwillingness to make these changes. We followed up with a letter to Cibulas.
