This will be our FMSI 7082B-D431. The D431 replaces the D200 assign ment for:
1989-87 Ford Mustang 5.0L, convertible 1988-87 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe
We have not as yet been able to get prints for this new assignment. We are making the assignment with temporary prints showing removal of the locating lug on the inner. Thank you for the information provided. We will be returning the sample inner by separate mailing.

Dear Mr. Bosco:
This is with reference to our recent phone conversation where we talked about possible Licensee Membership in the Institute. As a manufacturer of hardware used on disc brake pads (clips, insulators, sensors) Anstro Manufacturing would most likely be eligible for Licensee Membership in the Institute. The eligibility clause in our Constitution which I believe would be applicable reads: "Any person, firm.................. engaged in the manufacture of brake shoes, or materials for their attachment or assembly, in commercial quantities............. shall be eligible to become a Licensee." As the steel plates for disc pads are considered brake shoes, and you indicated that Anstro manufactures clips and wear sensors for these shoes, it would appear that you are eligible for Licensee Member ship .

I believe the "Services to Licensees" reasonably summarizes what is available. In that write-up, you will note that some prints do not have details of shoe dimensions that would be needed to manufacture from the prints only.
To apply for Membership, your company must now be manufacturing these brake clips and parts in commercial quantities. Our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. If you were to apply now, it would take about 6 weeks to process your application, and the Membership would be from July 1, 1988 through June 30, 1989. The Annual Fee for a Licensee is currently $600. If your company were to apply for Licensee Membership, it should complete the enclosed application form and forward it along with your check in the amount of US$600 to the Institute. If accepted, that payment would cover Licensee Membership through June 30, 1989. If not accepted, your $600 would be returned.
