Green Bay, Wise. On Wednesday, 31 July 1957. Messrs. Hofmeister and Planert visited the Marine Terminal at Green Bay to investigate a former Standard employee's claim that he was lead poisoned while working at the truck loading rack in the terminal. Since I was on location, observing a tank cleaning, they asked questions regarding the possibility of getting lead poisoning under the conditions present at the terminal. While I was answering the questions in generalities, I explained about our L.I.A. kit, and demonstrated its use. Mr. Hofmeister was very impressed with the kit, and said he would contact our Chicago office for further help in this matter. The only information I could get on the injured man was that he stopped working for Standard in 1956, after having worked there for several years.
