I know this is an important project for many Louisianians, who are happy to see private investment and adaptive reuse in an important historic district. Kyle, Aurelia Skipwith is our Deputy Assistant Secretary for Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, and does tremendous work for our Department. If there's anything I can do to assist either of you going forward, do not hesitate to ask. Forwarded message From: Date: Mon, Sep 11, 2017 at 6:44 PM Subject: Cathedral Academy School in French Quarter To: James.schindler@boem.gov James, Hope all is well. I wanted to send over a copy of these three letters that Senator Kennedy, Senator Cassidy and Congressman Johnson sent the National Park Service related to an issue with the private redevelopment of the St Louis Academy School in the French Quarter that because of the historic district needs blessing at the local, state and federal level. The Vieux Carre Commission in New Orleans and State Historic preservation commissions have done thorough on site and off site reviews of the redevelopment. Both have given final approval of the entire project. The National Park Service is meeting with us to discuss an appeal we are having this Friday at 1pm. John Burns is the chief appeals officer with the National Park Service we will be meeting with he has a copy of the three Member support letters and each Member office sent their letters over to the Secretary's office. Thanks for your assistance and the Department's consideration to move this important project in New Orleans forward. Kyle Kyle Ruckert Bold Strategies 504 430 7438 www.boldstrategiesllc.com Going?
