I didn't get a chance to peruse them until the early part of the week. The lectures were most interesting, as a matter of fact, so interesting I took them home and read them so I wouldn't be continually interrupted. kI noted that the work on wine, which you reported on page of your lectures, was previously reported in your reprint "Exposure to Lead" and this would apparently place the research sometime prior to I9V7 As a starting point in investigating the possibility of the migra tion of lead to the cork and hence to the wine, I will consult sev eral industry technologists on the present day production of the so- called "lead foil" capsules. I suspect the composition and the methods of production are completely different from the 19 ^0 s when your research was completed. ' Thanks again for calling this matter to the'industry's attention.
