As ss y-isvv Some months ago the Waxside Paper Company impregnated some paper with diphenyl, and Bemis formed the paper into multi wall bags, which were used to ship oranges. They now have made tests on the shipments, the results of which were only partially successful. Waxside suspects that due to the delay encountered all along the line, much of the diphenyl has evaporated from % the bag. They would like to know the present con- / centration of diphenyl in the bags. They want to send two bags to you for test. These will probably come to you from the Bemis Bag Company, Orlando, Florida. The inner wall of the bag is the only one that was , impregnated with diphenyl. They would like to know, however, how much diphenyl has migrated to the other .... layers of the bag wall.
