1950 - Dr. Hamlin, Medical Director, attended the Industrial Hygiene Foundation meeting and held a position on the IHF Committee for a three year term beginning in 1952. Herbert J. Weber attended meetings as early as 1945. No one attended the 1955 IHF meeting in Pittsburgh and transcription of these meeting were never sent to Abex.
Abex became aware of articles published by W.C. Dressen establishing tlv's for airborne asbestos particles, not fibers, in 1972.
