ABD00250030 TABLE 2 RELIEF VALVE BLOWDOWN RING TESTING August 16, 1986 The test conditions on reactor D-700 were as follows: 1. In all the tests, the reactor was pressured to approximately 40 psig with plant air. 2. A 300 psig test gauge was used for the testing. The gauge was calibrated with a dead weight tester immediately before the testing. 3. Water was added to the reactor until set pressure was reached. It was necessary to use the rinse water pump with a process water suction to achieve the desired pressure. 4. Ron Butcher from Tri-State Valve and Equipment observed the testing and helped in setting the blowdown rings. The shop he represents did the preventive maintenance work on the valves before the testing.
