W appreciate the useful comments we received from the Task Force members and incorporated them into the final comments. A copy of the Vi's comments are enclosed, together with those we prepared for SPI. On Friday, we also received from Triangle revised "final" data regarding the concentrations of dioxins and furans in PVC pipe resin samples. Attached are the initial "unverified" results, which were submitted to EPA, as well as the revised "final" results, for comparison. While most of the data are unchanged, the minimum detection limits (MDL's) for the blanks and several samples increased by 0.1. In addition, note that two results from sample 169-2 now indicate Estimated Maximum Potential Concentration (EMPC) readings. The validated data packages should be forwarded to us later this week and we will send them to the submitting company.
